Solid reinforced vandal-proof basketball hoop

Basketball ring manufactured from solid Ø20 mm steel, S235JR grade, conforming to EN 10025 and manufactured according to UNE EN 1270.

The rim is secured at its lower rear by an anchor box, consisting of a 5 mm thick folded steel plate with four Ø12.5 ±1 mm fixing holes, standard for basketball rims, spaced 110 ±1 mm horizontally and 90 ±1 mm vertically.

This plate is reinforced laterally with 6 mm thick plates, which allow for shaping the box, facilitating rounded edges with a 3 mm radius, and providing greater overall rigidity.

The entire system is assembled by welding, ensuring high structural strength.

The connection between the anchor box and the rim is reinforced by 6 mm semicircular plates located on both sides, which connect the rim to the box and the backboard, providing greater strength and stability to the assembly.

A Ø10 x 1.5 mm tube is welded to the bottom of the rim for attaching the net. This system incorporates 12 fixing points, and inside it is a Ø2.7 mm steel wire that acts as a guide, allowing the net to be positioned safely and preventing any risk of entrapment.
